Spine tutorial coming soon- yes chant by Dynamaito Spine tutorial coming soon- yes chant by Dynamaito
Hey guys, I've been using Spine software for a bit now and I thought maybe you would like a little tutorial on how bone animation works. First of all, I have have never done a tutorial before, so I probably have no idea what I am doing lol.

As I am getting my components ready, I just wanted to post the working image. Sorry if you don't like DB, I just thought his chant would make a fun animation.

I am actually going to post the tutorial on my site first www.chromaengine.com, it will be easier for me this way. I'll be back soon with updates.

Also, it help to have some traditional animation knowledge. If you are interested in know more about traditional animation I recommend this book

I love seeing all the pieces laid out next to the final animation here.  I personally don't want to animate anything but seeing how it works is highly interesting.  I especially appreciate the details you put in, such as the feet rising up and the several different types of hair.

Neat... this is kind of the approach I use when making my sprites, but I've used Flash. I always wanted to make sprites with just my regular drawings either by hand or in Photoshop/Manga Studio instead of relying on Flash's vectors. I'm interested in the tutorial for sure.
